These terms of service govern your access to and use of the SHIRAZ website, and your purchase of any product from us. By browsing our site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.
1. About us
This website and online store are operated by SHIRAZ, a sole proprietorship (raison individuelle) owned by Louise Mottard, whose business address is Parc-des-Mayens 3B, 1218 Le Grand-Saconnex, Geneva, Switzerland. The business is not entered in the Swiss commercial register and therefore holds no UID/IDE number. You can reach us at shirazgeneva@gmail.com. In these Terms, “SHIRAZ”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to this business.
2. Eligibility
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
3. Products & pricing
All prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout, based on your delivery address; see our Shipping Policy for rates. We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but slight variations in color or finish may occur, particularly for handmade or limited-drop pieces. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
4. Made-to-order & drops
SHIRAZ produces its pieces to order, released in limited drops of 10. When you place an order, you are reserving a piece from that drop. Production begins once your order is confirmed and takes approximately two weeks, in addition to the delivery time stated in our Shipping Policy. By ordering, you accept this production timeline as part of the nature of a made-to-order product.
5. Order acceptance & cancellation
Your order is a binding offer to purchase, and a contract is formed once we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing or stock errors, or where a piece from a drop becomes unavailable. If we cancel a confirmed order, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that order.
6. Payment
We accept payment by Twint and by credit or debit card, processed securely through Shopify Payments. Full payment is taken at the time of order. We do not store your card details; these are handled directly by our payment processor.
7. Shipping
See our Shipping Policy for delivery zones, rates, and estimated timelines. Risk of loss and title to products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

9. Right of withdrawal
Swiss law grants no statutory right of withdrawal or “cooling-off” period for online purchases. SHIRAZ nevertheless grants you a contractual right of withdrawal: you may withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise it, send us a clear statement to that effect at shirazgeneva@gmail.com, quoting your order number, then return the item unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags attached. Return shipping is at your expense. Accepted withdrawals are reimbursed as store credit, valid without expiry, as set out in our Refund Policy; we do not issue cash refunds. Because our pieces are made to order, we may amend or withdraw this contractual right for future orders; any such change applies only to orders placed after it takes effect, and never retroactively.
10. Acceptable use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not to attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with its operation, or to place fraudulent orders. We reserve the right to suspend or refuse access to any user who violates these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including designs, photographs, text, and the SHIRAZ name and logo, is the property of SHIRAZ or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. It may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our prior written permission.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SHIRAZ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your purchase of our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable Swiss law.
13. Force majeure
SHIRAZ is not liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, carrier disruptions, or other events of force majeure.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this website will be submitted to the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in your place of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
